PURPOSE
The PROBE Determiner has been designed specifically to establish a starting point when using the PROBE Reading Assessment.

♦ Guide - with photocopiable marking sheet.
♦ Student’s wordlist - laminated.
The Determiner is quick and easy to use.
It comprises words selected from each of the PROBE texts on the basis of phonetic difficulty and low frequency usage.
The Guide includes clear notes on the Determiner’s design, use and interpretation of results.
