PROBE READING ASSESSMENT
assessing reading comprehension
Chris Parkin, Catherine Parkin, Brian Pool
© 2002 Triune Initiatives NZ
First published in November 1999 and revised in 2002.
PROBE keywords added to the kit in 2009.
The writers spent a total of 5000 hours developing the process from the ground up, including: writing original stories, creating the question taxonomy and crafting specific questions.
The stories are, as much as possible, culturally & geographically unbiased, not compromised by pictures, leading titles or introductions that may interfere with students using the text.
