The PROBE Supplementary kit is the same as the PROBE Reading Assessment kit, except it doesn't have the copymasters.
The stories and questions are the same.
The kit has three books:
1. Guide & Answers
2. Student Texts
3. PROBE Determiner
It was produced to allow schools with a limited budget to have multiple PROBE Reading Assessment kits at a more affordable price. To legally purchase PROBE Supplementary kits a learning institution must have at least one full kit. The student assessment sheets are copied from the full kit.
It is suggested teachers using a PROBE Supplementary kit have the full kit(s) at a central place for ease of copying. Appreciate that you must only copy from a copymaster section of the full kit. Copying copies is a breach of copyright laws.
Teachers using both the full kit and the PROBE Supplementary kit often have copies of the Student Assessment Sheets made up and stored in a clear file folder.
